What sorts of installations and things need a WOEF?
Transportable buildings such as Portacoms, Caravans, tents and motorhomes which are fitted with electrical services. AS/NZS 3001 is the primary Standard. Testing requirements are also contained in Section 8 of AS/NZS 3000.

Transportable buildings are issued with a Certificate of Compliance following construction. It will then be issued with a WOEF either by the installation electrician or by a nominated electrical inspector. 
When it is moved elsewhere it will need another Warrant of Electrical Fitness prior to livening. The act of moving the transportable building triggers the need for a WOEF which will remain valid until the building is either moved again, relocated OR when a four year period expires.
