About Us
The Electrical Inspector Limited is committed to excellence in Health, Safety and Environmental performance and strives to meet its obligations by providing a safe working environment for its employees, contractors and visitors.
 
The Electrical Inspector Limited has zero tolerance towards the unauthorised or illegal use and possession of drugs and/or alcohol while working for us.
 
We require that:
 
All individuals performing work for the company shall be made aware of our policy.
 
No employee or contractor shall report to or conduct work if their performance could be adversely affected by drugs (this includes prescription medication) or alcohol.
 
Employees who attend company or customer functions are not to drive any vehicle while under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.
 
No employee or contractor may use, manufacture, possess, sell, trade or distribute any illegal drugs at our client’s workplaces.
 
No employee, visitor or contractor may manufacture, sell or trade alcohol on our client’s worksites at any time. Consumption of alcohol at our office is reserved for special occasions authorised only by the Managing Director.
 
The Electrical Inspector Limited reserves the right to instigate a drug and alcohol testing programme if required. This may take the form of pre-employment, reasonable cause, post incident testing and random testing.
 
The Electrical Inspector Limited will provide information to individuals to help them develop the confidence to know what action to take if they are concerned about drug and alcohol misuse, and in particular to assist in the recognition of reasonable cause indicators.
